පොලිස් මාධ්‍ය ප්‍රකාශක, ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ පොලිස් අධිකාරි නීතිවේදී බුද්ධික මනතුංග මහතා එම ධුරයෙන් ඉල්ලා අස්වී තිබෙනවා.

ඊට අදාළ ලිපිය ඒ මහතා විසින් වැඩබලන පොලිස්පති ප්‍රියන්ත වීරසූරිය මහතා වෙත යොමුකර ඇති බව වාර්තාවනවා.

පෞද්ගලික හේතුවක් මත ඔහු මෙම ධුරයෙන් ඉල්ලා අස්වෙන බවයි වාර්තා වෙන්නෙ.
