එළඹෙන පළාත් පාලන මැතිවරණයේ සමගි ජන බලවේගයේ කොළඹ නගරාධිපති අපේක්ෂක ලෙස ආචාර්ය විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය රුවේස් හනීෆා මහතා නම් කර ඇති බව වාර්තා වෙනවා.
හෙට (20) දිනයේ සමගි ජන බලවේගය මෙය නිල වශයෙන් නිවේදනය කිරීමට නියමිතයි.
රුවේස් හනීෆා මහතා කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ ආචාර්වරයෙකු වන අතරම, 2013 වසරේ හිටපු ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා විසින් අතුරුදහන් වූවන් පිළිබඳ පැමිණිලි විමර්ශනය කිරීම සඳහා පත් කළ පරණගම කොමිසමේ සමාජිකයෙකුද වනවා.
It is reported that Dr. Ruwes Hanifa has been nominated as the Samagi Jana Balawegaya’s candidate for the Mayor of Colombo in the upcoming local government election.
The Samagi Jana Balawegaya is scheduled to officially announce this tomorrow (20).
Mr. Ruwes Hanifa is a professor at the University of Colombo and is also a member of the Paranagama Commission appointed by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa in 2013 to investigate complaints about missing persons.
