අල්ලස් කොමිසම විසින් සිදුකරනු ලබන විමර්ශනයකට අදාළව හිටපු අමාත්‍ය කෙහෙළිය රඹුක්වැල්ලගේ පාර්ලිමේන්තු ශාඛාවේ බැංකු ගිණුමක් අත්හිටුවමින් දී තිබෙන නියෝගය ඉවත් කරන ලෙස ඒ ඔහුගේ නීතිඥවරු කළ ඉල්ලීමක් කොළඹ මහාධිකරණය ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කර ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.
කොළඹ මහාධිකරණ විනිසුරු ආදිත්‍ය පටබැඳිගේ විසින් මෙම තීන්දුව ලබා දි ඇත.
අල්ලස් කොමිසම විසින් සිදුකරනු ලබන විමර්ශනයකට අදාළව කොළඹ මහාධිකරණය විසින් හිටපු සෞඛ්‍ය ඇමැති කෙහෙළිය රඹුක්වැල්ලගේ සහ ඔහුගේ පවුලේ අයට අයත් බැංකු ගිණුම් සහ රක්ෂණ ගිවිසුම් කිහිපයක් අත්හිටුවමින් ඉකුත්දා කොළඹ මහාධිකරණය විසින් තහනම් නියෝගයක් නිකුත් කර තිබුණි.
එහෙත් කෙහෙළිය රඹුක්වැල්ලගේ විශ්‍රාම වැටුප මෙන්ම ඔහුගේ නිවස ගිනිගැනීමෙන් ඇතිව හානිය වෙනුවෙන් ලැබුණු රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 959කට අධික වන්දි මුදල තැන්පත් කර තිබෙන පාර්ලිමේන්තු ශාඛාවේ බැංකු ගිණුමද මේ යටතේ තහනමට ගෙන තිබෙන බවත් එම ගිණුමට පණවා තිබෙන තහනම ඉවත් කිරීමේ නියෝගයක් නිකුත් කරන ලෙසත් ඉකුත්දා ඔහුගේ නීතිඥවරු විසින් ඉල්ලීමක් කර ඇත.
එම ඉල්ලීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් තීන්දුව ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කරමින් මහාධිකරණ විනිසුරුවරයා සඳහන් කළේ අදාළ ඉල්ලීම ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කරන බවයි.
It is reported that the Colombo High Court has rejected a request made by former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella’s bank account to be suspended in connection with an investigation by the Bribery Commission.
This decision was given by Colombo High Court Judge Aditya Patabandige.
Yesterday, the Colombo High Court had issued a restraining order suspending several bank accounts and insurance contracts belonging to former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and his family in connection with an investigation by the Bribery Commission.
But Keheliya Rambukwella’s pension as well as the compensation amount of more than Rs. 959 lakh received for the damage caused by the fire of his house has been frozen in the bank account of the Parliament branch under this and his lawyers have requested to issue an order to lift the ban on that account.
Pronouncing the verdict on the request, the High Court judge said that the request will be rejected.
